Grant Mills Wood acted on behalf of a Telereal Trillium in the disposal of 3 acre site in Catford. The site had an industrial warehouse building of approximately 33,404 sq ft (3,103 sq m) which was heavily dilapidated due to illegal occupiers vandalising the unit. The unit had other difficulties including: a low eaves height, high office content, Japanese Knotweed, underground fuel tanks and access difficulties due to traffic calming measures and a low bridge on Fordmill Road.
Terms were successfully negotiated and agreed on a subject to planning basis. The conditional contract was subject to the purchaser receiving a satisfactory planning permission for the demolition of the warehouse unit and the erection of a new B8 warehouse unit equating to 72,280 sq ft (6,715 sq m) for storage and distribution of wholesale foods.
Planning Permission has been granted and the contract has now completed.
