Grant Mills Wood were instructed jointly with King Sturge (now JLL) to market a substantial listed building forming part of a pumping house and within the curtiledge of a working water treatment plant.
After one abortive sale the property was sold to a high net worth individual on an unconditional basis for a proposed mixed use which was to exclude residential occupancy. Part of the building still houses operational water company plant.
We were involved in renegotiating terms as well as advising on the structure of an overage provision.
