Grant Mills Wood acted for a private client providing strategic sales advice relating to an urban industrial site of approximately 41,000 sq ft on 0.7 acre in Kings Cross which was owned by two families. The site had been used by a plumbing merchants for many years however the buildings had not been invested in so became out of touch with market demands and were in disrepair. 

Following a review of the asset and the desires of the families, it was agreed to sell the site with the benefit of short-term income from the plumbing merchants. 

The site was marketed and discussions were had with interested parties. Following receipt of offers, it was decided to invite formal sealed bids on an unconditional basis in order to progress matters as efficiently as possible.

Following best bids, terms were agreed with Big Yellow and the transaction completed within 4 weeks.
